Love and Trust

We all seek love and acceptance. Inspite of all the ugliness, weaknesses, unworthiness, undeservedness, someone accepts me as I am. What else?

All our hard work, prayers, effort and actions just that somebody might find us worthy of love and might just love us. Might give us the care and acceptance.

We are all seeking just love. While externally we can call it anything else – validation, comfort, security, partnership among other things.

We sabotage this incoming love and acceptance by being dishonest. Dishonest with ourselves and others. While we might think – hiding this dishonesty from others would help us get their acceptance and love.

That might not be the case. The problem is our own subconscious will make us feel- we don’t deserve. The circus starts – I do things that I can use to claim the love I deserve from the other. Implicitly feeding the idea ‘I don’t deserve therefore I should do this n that so that I become worthy of love’.

On the other side, great masters have told that we are built on the fabric of supreme love. In fact we are that Supreme Love ourselves!

The feeling of someone loving us is just the recognition of the supreme love within us. The choice less urge to love someone is also its manifestation.

And the only way to not get in the way of love is – as Sri M says – Stick to the truth as much as possible and don’t hurt anyone.
